Biography

Velma serves NSA as Historian/Oral Historian. Hired by NSA in 2019, she has 20 years of professional experience, including the past four with NSA. Her experience includes oral history, preparation of public interpretive materials and events, preparation of instructional materials, historic exhibit curation, and historical research.
