Margaret Milteer, MA, RPA

Margaret joined NSA in 2025 and has experience conducting archaeological field work in both historic and precontact contexts in the Southeast. Her thesis research analyzed marginalization and self-determination as represented grave marker construction trends in 20th century African American cemeteries. Her other research interests are centered around Euro-colonial history in the southeast.
