Biography
Hillary joined NSA as an Assistant Archaeologist in 2024. Hillary has spent over a decade gaining experience in archaeological fieldwork, lab work, flotation, research, data analysis, and report writing for projects of all archaeological phases, including monitoring and reconnaissance. Hillary’s thesis focused on a Late Woodland-Early Mississippian shell midden on Pensacola Bay. Though her research interests lie in Indigenous peoples of the past and present, Hillary also has significant experience with colonial and early American archaeology, particularly in urban settings.
