Biography

Chris Triplett first began working for New South as an on-call archaeological field technician in 2022 and formally joined as a Project Archaeologist in 2026. He has worked in the cultural resource management industry since 2019, gaining extensive experience in both terrestrial and maritime archaeological contexts in the Southeastern US and developing strong technical proficiencies in field, remote sensing, and geospatial methodologies.  He is a Registered Professional Archaeologist with certifications and training as an AAUS Scientific Diver and SDI Divemaster to support submerged archaeological endeavors in the United States and abroad.
