Biography

Cheyenne joined NSA in 2022 as a Cultural Anthropologist. Cheyenne’s graduate studies focused on the impacts of displacement, place attachment, and how attachments to places are continuous and ongoing despite displacement. Prior to joining NSA, Cheyenne worked as an intern for the National Park Service’s Southeast Regional Office as a cultural anthropologist where she read and critiqued ethnographic reports for national parks across the region, identified ethnographic resources for each park, inputted resources into the NPS’ new Cultural Resource Inventory System (CRIS), and consulted with parks on Section 106.
