Katie Mino joined New South in 2023 as an Architectural Historian. She holds a B.S. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Penn State University and taught second grade prior to pursuing a Master of Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia. While attending UGA, Katie was a graduate assistant for the FindIt program, where she helped document historic resources throughout the surrounding Athens community. During graduate school she aided in building material conservation for a historic house in Virginia and contributed to a historic structure report for the National Park Service in Washington through an internship with the National Council for Preservation Education.
