Maeve Herrick serves New South Associates as an Assistant Geophysical Specialist. She received a B.A. in Anthropology and Religion from the University of Vermont and an M.A. in Anthropology with a concentration in Archaeology from the University of Denver. Her archaeological specialization is geophysical methods, specifically ground-penetrating radar and magnetometry. These methods have allowed her to map sites in Colorado, New England, and the Southeast. Maeve also uses geophysics in conjunction with excavations and archival research. She has done archaeology in Vermont, Connecticut, Colorado, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Virginia, and Maryland.
