Biography

Anna was hired in 2024 and serves NSA as an Assistant Archaeologist. Her experience includes precolonial and historical archaeology of the southeast and Caribbean. She has experience as a field tech in all phases and as a lab tech. Anna’s master’s thesis centered on a paleoethnobotanical analysis of a precolonial Indigenous site in the Caribbean. Her research interests include foodways, gender, and environmental archaeology.
