Biography

Penne joined NSA in 2023 as a Senior Historian. Penne’s work experience includes archival and deed research, survey fieldwork and analysis, interpretive writing for museums, two architectural history publications for Greene (NC) and Currituck (NC) counties, and Cultural Resources management for a Navy shipyard. She has completed regional cultural resource surveys, Section 106 reports, and National Register nominations.
