Biography
Kimberly Blanke currently serves as the Assistant Project Manager for the VCP Flagship, Project Manager for the VCP at Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL), and as Project Liason for the VA History Office. Kim earned her BS in Business Administration at Lindenwood University and her MBA with a concentration in Project Management at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Kim joined the VCP as a technician in 2015 following four years as a Combat Engineer in the Marine Corps Reserve and returned as an Assistant Lab Manager for the St. Louis lab in 2017. Her favorite part of her position and training opportunities is being able to teach many incoming technician and manager how to capture a visual representation of the collections within the VCP and sharing her knowledge of a successful transition from the military. In addition to her role at the VCP, Kim serves as co-chair for Forward 15, a fundraising committee with VetBiz.
