Gavin Davies, PhD

Gavin Davies joined New South in 2026 as a Senior Archaeologist. Gavin has over 15 years archaeological experience, which spans the Eastern United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Guatemala. His Phd research in Guatemala has been published in a variety of conference papers and recently resulted in an edited volume entitled Routes, Interaction, and Exchange in the Southern Maya Area. In addition to his archaeological investigations, Gavin has taught undergraduate classes in Anthropology and International Studies.
