Brian Snyder serves New South Associates as an Archaeologist. He is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) and has a B.S. in Anthropology (Archaeology) from the University of New Mexico and an M.A. in Anthropology (Archaeology) from Northern Arizona University. Brian has spent the past eight years working as a field technician, crew chief, laboratory analyst, and field director for a variety of Phase I, II, and III projects in the Mid-Atlantic, Southwestern, and Southeastern United States. His research interests include Paleoindian archaeology, hunter/gatherer land use and resource acquisition, experimental replication of prehistoric technology, lithic analysis, ceramic analysis, and archaeological applications of GIS technology.
