Nancy McKenzie (B.A. in Psychology with a minor in U.S. History, The University of New Mexico; A.A. in Liberal Arts, Central New Mexico Community College) currently serves as Photography Manager/Outreach Support for the VCP. A native of South Carolina, Nancy joined the United States Army in 2000 as a Signals Intelligence Analyst and served in Texas and Iraq. In 2014, Nancy relocated from New Mexico to the Augusta area and joined the Augusta VCP as a technician. The following year she accepted a position as an Assistant Laboratory Manager and has served as Photography Assistant, Site Safety Officer and Social Media Contact. She enjoys the process of preserving our nation’s history, being a part of the VCP’s outreach mission, flintknapping, and dabbling in various forms of art.
