Staff Sergeant Guilliam D. Hurte, Sr. currently serves as an Assistant Laboratory Manager in the Alexandria VCP. Guilliam is completing his B.A. at Troy University, where he is majoring in Cultural Anthropology and focusing on Eastern and Biblical cultures. Guilliam joined the Air Force Reserve in 2010 as an Electrical and Environmental Aircraft Technician. He received upgrade training at Hurlburt Field, FL and Moody AFB, GA. After graduating from the Veterans Curation Program in March 2015, he was hired as an Assistant Laboratory Supervisor, where he enjoys helping his fellow serviceman pursue their goals. He plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Anthropology to help him achieve his ultimate goal of becoming a university professor.
