Jessica Mundt (M.A. in Applied Anthropology, University of Maryland, College Park; B.A. in Anthropology and English, Vanderbilt University) serves as the Project Manager for the Veterans Curation Program. Jessica provides support for the four flagship VCP labs and the VCP satellite lab at Texas State University. A Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA), Jessica worked as a field archaeologist for five years. During this time she performed and directed archaeological excavations and laboratory analysis, authored numerous technical reports, conducted archival research, and developed interpretive exhibits. Jessica’s professional interests include archaeology of the mid-Atlantic, and public archaeology. Jessica has also worked as an interpreter for the National Park Service and as an archives technician at the Maryland State Archives.
