Scott Morris has been with New South Associates since 2006. In his capacity as an Historian, he assists in the survey, documentation, and evaluation of historic resources. Mr. Morris received his B.A. in Anthropology from Arizona State University and an M.H.P. from Georgia State University. Prior to his transfer to New South’s History department in 2016, he worked in the Laboratory as Field Assistant and Analyst. With training and experience in architectural history, Mr. Morris has completed fieldwork and reporting for an extensive range of clients, including the Georgia Department of Transportation, the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the City of Atlanta. He has conducted field and research projects in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
