Sage Gardner serves New South Associates as a Laboratory Analyst and Field Technician and joined the firm in 2022. She earned her B.S. in Anthropology form the University of Idaho in 2022 and has archaeological field experience in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. She also has experience as a laboratory technician under the Veterans Curation Program where she curated, cataloged, and photographed/scanned U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ archaeological and archival collections. Sage served in the U.S. Army from 2013 to 2020 as a Healthcare Specialist. She has experience in historic, prehistoric, conflict, and battlefield archaeology. Her research interests include Bioarchaeology, Biodistance Analysis, Conflict Archaeology, and Feminist Archaeology.
