Leigha Williams serves New South Associates as an Assistant Mortuary Archaeologist and joined the firm in 2022. She received her B.A. in Anthropology from Georgia Southern University and her M.A. in Social Sciences with an emphasis in bioarchaeology and human osteology from the same university. She has conducted skeletal analysis in both modern and historical contexts, including analysis for the City of Savannah, GA aiding in the identification of Revolutionary War era remains. She has conducted fieldwork in Tennessee, South Carolina, Mississippi and Georgia.
