Wesley (Wes) Nimmo serves New South Associates as Assistant Historian/Archaeologist. Wes joined New South in early 2020 with dual B.A.s in History and Anthropology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a M.A. in Anthropology from East Carolina University. Wes has experience in historical research and historical archaeology as well as experience in laboratory analysis and architectural photography. He has conducted research and fieldwork in the Southeast and supported architectural history survey in the Northwest.
