Kerry is a Senior Editor in the New South Production Department, where she supports New South’s writers and ushers reports and other publications through the production process. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Rochester and an MA and PhD from Emory University. Her research interests include twentieth-century literature, narratology and rhetoric, and manuscript studies. She has further training and experience in online and library research, archives, and collecting and editing primary source materials for publication. Before joining New South in 2019, Kerry worked as a freelance editor for academic writers and university presses. She has edited books published by the Harvard University Press, the University of Chicago Press, Routledge, the University of North Carolina Press, and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy.
