Kevin Bradley, RPA serves as Lead Archaeologist and Branch Manager for New South Associates Fairfax, Virginia office. A Registered Professional Archaeologist, he holds a B.A. in History from the University of Mary Washington and his M.A. in Public Archaeology from American University.  He has researched, conducted, and supervised all phases of archaeological investigations on precontact and historic-period urban and rural sites throughout the Mid-Atlantic and northeast, as well as engaged the public concerning the results of a number of these projects. He has conducted projects on behalf of a variety of governmental agencies and private entities, including the National Park Service, the United States Army Corps of Engineers, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the Delaware Department of State, and A-E firms, among others. Mr. Bradley has focused expertise in battlefield archaeology, having worked on 12 conflict sites from New York to Texas. He is skilled in the application and management of digital geospatial data collected in the process of performing archaeological surveys and studies, including the use of geographic information systems (GIS), total stations, GPS units, and metal detection. Mr. Bradley has completed the Advanced Metal Detector Training for Archaeologists and has authored or co-authored more than 30 technical reports.  He has worked in Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
