Kelly Brown (B.A. in Anthropology, University of Georgia) currently serves as the Archives Laboratory Manager in the Augusta VCP and is responsible for the rehabilitation of documents associated with archaeological investigations. She has several years of experience in archaeological laboratories, including work with the University of Georgia and Georgia Museum of Natural History laboratories and work for the National Park Service. Kelly was also a Teaching Assistant with the Center for American Archaeology and with the National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program. Kelly has conducted zooarchaeological analysis on faunal collections and co-authored the University of Georgia’s study of vertebrate remains from the Crystal River Site.
