Jasmine Heckman (M.A. in Museum Studies and Collections Management, George Washington University; B.A. in Anthropology with a focus on Prehistoric Archaeology, Luther College) currently serves as the Project Manager for the Veterans Curation Program. She has worked in the museum industry in the D.C. area for seven years. Jasmine has completed archaeological fieldwork and research in the Midwest, and her background in collections management and preventive conservation is diverse and includes working with archaeological, ethnological, physical anthropology, military, archival, medical, and biological collections. Jasmine previously worked as an Archives Technician at the National Museum of Health and Medicine, a Museum Specialist at the National Museum of Natural History, and as a Laboratory Supervisor and Archives Specialist for the Alexandria Veterans Curation Program. Jasmine provides quality assurance, guidance, and support to all three VCP facilities.
